Zim Line achieves highest gross crane productivity

A Glodstar Zim Line vessel has achieved the highest gross crane productivity of 30.80 moves on the vessel m.v. "Izumo" at the Jaya Container Terminal (JCT) at Colombo Port recently.

Deputy General Manager (Operations) of Star Lanka Shipping, Dirk Williams commended the staff at JCT for the contribution made to achieve the efficiency.

The Guide Pier was also involved in this effort. m.v. "Ocean Highway" V/28A also achieved 82 moves per hour which is the highest productivity reported for Pure Car carrier vessels of "K-Line".
