Freedom Alliance sure to form stable govt as most recognized political parties have joined it - M. S. Uthumalebbe

Alaiyadivemby group correspondent

The formation of the next government by the United People's Freedom Alliance is confirmed, said M. S. Uthumalebbe, the Organiser of National Muslim Congress for Addalaichenai at the Election Committee meeting held recently at Main Street.

He said further that the United National Front (UNF) is not strong enough to defeat the Freedom Alliance at the forthcoming parliamentary election as most of the recognised political parties have joined hands with the new alliance which is sure to form a stable government under the able leadership of President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga.

We are all well aware that during the previous PA regime, concrete action was taken to fulfil the aspirations of the ordinary class, but the UNP government paid only lip service to public grievances.
