Puthirasigamoney also participated at the opening ceremony.Minister Arumugan Thondaman said "we will continue the building of storeyed buildings on estates who ever condemns it. As there was no space for gardening and cultivation, we have planned to provide them to workers very soon.We have introduced a storeyed Housing Scheme for estate workers to get a change in living standards that had been in practice for the past 200 years.
