Mitsubishi maintains market leadership United Motors said that Mitsubishi continues to enjoy the market leadership position in the Japanese brand new segment for the year 2003. Mitsubishi has been dominating this segment and has upheld its position for well over a decade. A spokesman for United Motors sources said that it is very difficult to measure real market share because there is no proper authority or research agency that can give the precise figures.
