CLC to open branch in Ambalangoda

In keeping with its efforts to expand more into the rural Sri Lanka, the Commercial Leasing Company Limited (CLC) recently opened its inaugural branch in Ambalangoda. This branch, the seventh in the CLC network, was opened by Hemaka Amarasuriya, the Chairman of CLC.

The CLC has opened 7 outstation branches beginning with its Kandy branch in May 1995 which was soon followed by a branch in Bambalapitiya (now the head office) in October 1996. Other branches in Negombo, Matara, Kurunegala, Anuradhapura, Trincomalee and Ambalangoda.

Since approximately 60% of the CLC's revenue comes from provincial sources, the Company is very active in rural communities and the service is provided to those who are in dire need for it.

The CLC branch will also have access to a popular features among the leases - the Indian line of credit which allows for the cost effective importation of Ashok-Leyland Comet Super Chassis vehicles. This unique category offered by CLC allows for a very accommodating and price sensitive solution for customers.
