Business in brief NDB Bank introduces Banking Online NDB Bank's new Internet Banking product, NDB Bank Online, now offers its personal banking customers fast, easy and secure access to their NDB Bank account. The service introduced by the Bank allows its customers to carry out a whole range of banking functions 'from anywhere at anytime' by logging on to NDB Bank's secure web site, through the Internet. The services offered through NDB Bank Online cover a host of functions, including useful account-related queries, such as checking account balances, viewing online statements, and viewing status of cheques. NDB Bank's Vice President - Head of Consumer Banking and Marketing, Indrajit Wickramasinghe, said, "Our NDB Bank Online service is offered completely free, to our personal banking customers. We are very pleased to launch this service as a value addition to account holders, and hope that they will take advantage of the sheer convenience that it offers them." JETRO fair in Tokyo Colombo, Monday (Lankapuvath) The largest Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) outsourcing fair for Information Technology Software (J-OFIS) will be held at the Japan Extimal Trade Organisation Akasaka Exhibition hall and IBSC hall in Tokyo from today till March 4, a spokesman of the Export Development Board (EDB) said. The fair is organised by JETRO for the second consecutive time as a business matchmaking attempt in the ICT sector. The Software Development Market in Japan was said to be in around 7 trillion yen in Year 2001.
