Triad among top agencies at SLIM awards Triad Advertising won four Gold awards, one Silver and one Bronze at this year's SLIM awards on Saturday. The coveted Gold awards were for Paracetol, the best print and TV ad in the "Personal Care" category, Mondy Seven Eight, the best print ad in the "Retail" category and Union Bank, the best radio ad in the "Corporate Image building" category. The Silver award was for Mondy Seven Eight TV ad in the "Retail" category. Bronze award was for Ceylinco Internet Services Print ad in the "Information and Communication Technology" category. The SLIM awards in the past have been dominated by advertising giants who are affiliated to global advertising networks. This 100% Sri Lankan owned ad agency has succeeded in outperforming the giants in the industry, specially in the most keenly contested sectors of "Personal Care" and "Retail". The brands which won this recognition, were local brands developed by Sri Lankan companies with creative and strategic input from the ad agency. This unprecedented effort by Triad, a company enriched by a group of dynamic and enthusiastic young people can be a benchmark for the industry where the smaller agencies are seen as less resourceful and able. |
