UNF leaders hold special Pahan Pooja at Dalada Maligawa

Prior to the commencement of the United National Front election campaign for the forthcoming general election, a special Pahan Pooja was held at the historic Maha Maluwa of Sri Dalada Maligawa, Kandy under the patronage of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe last evening (25).

After the Pahan Pooja for the victory of the United National Front the Prime Minister worshipped the Tooth Relic at the Sri Dalada Maligawa.

A large number of United National Party activists including UNP Deputy Leader Karu Jayasuriya, Chairman, Malik Samarawickrema, Central Region Development Minister, Tissa Attanayake, Plantations Minister, Lakshman Kiriella, Cooperatives Minister, A. R. M. Abdul Cader and Kandy Mayor, Kesara Senanayake participated.
