"The same business mafia money is at work once again to buy over to the UNP fold, National list MPs rejected by the masses. We are not surprised, but only feel sorry about individuals like S. B. Dissanayake who kicked the people's mandate in the most uncivilised manner to join the bankrupt UNP currently undergoing its own self dissolution," Samaraweera stated. Mr. Samaraweera has alleged that the UNP led by Ranil Wickremesinghe, infuriated by certain defeat, once again is using funds supplied by the business mafia to get into its fold individuals rejected by the people. |
