Police have detained nine persons into custody over an attack on the World Vision office, Kebithigollawa, yesterday morning.

An unknown group had thrown bombs at the building before torching it. The entire building and most of the equipment inside had been destroyed.

Kebithigollawa Police, who acted on a tip-off from a neighbour, rounded up the nine persons along with a van. Further investigations are continuing.
