Alaiyadivembu group correspondent

The unity of Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, teachers and the students of any University is most important to develop it in all aspects.

This felicitation given to me today by all of you is not only due to me but also it is due to all of you as you all were kind enough to help me in various ways to uplift the standard of this SEUSL, said the former Vice-Chancellor M. L. A. Cader at the ceremonial felicitation given to both the former Registrar Jehufer Sadique and himself (Vice-Chancellor) held recently at the auditorium of South-Eastern University of Sri Lanka, Oluvil, which was organised by its Teachers' Association under the aegis of the President of Teachers' Association Dr. K. M. H. Khalideen.

M. L. A. Cader, the former Vice-Chancellor further said that although the SEUSL needs some improvements, it has shown massive progress during my tenure of office as the VC.

In fact, the discipline among the students is most important to earn a reputation to the college of any kind and this should be enriched by its key officials.

As I had a talented Registrar, it easily paved way for me to carry out my duties with dedication and devotion.

The former Registrar Jahufer Sadique said that the opportunity that I had to be a Registrar of any University by the way of my office as the Registrar to this SEUSL and during my office, I did my utmost to uplift same with a view to make it good for the societies of all sections.

Dr. K. M. H. Khalideen, the President of Teachers' Association said that it gives me great pleasure in the appreciation of these two former key officials, because of their tireless efforts they had made in bringing a reputation to this SEUSL by promoting its progress.

We must also not forget the fact that all those who had been performing a dedicated service under difficult circumstances too with a view to upgrade this SEUSL to the status of a full-fledged university.
