Arnold leads in Aussie tour opener

Sri Lanka 'A' team captain Russel Arnold will lead a Sri Lanka Cricket President's XI in a one-day limited overs practice match against Australia at Tyronne Fernando Stadium, Moratuwa on February 17.

A 14-member squad was picked yesterday (subject to Sports Ministry ratification) from which the final eleven will be selected.

Australia who are currently involved in a tri-series one-day contest with India and Zimbabwe are due to arrive in Sri Lanka on February 14 for a series of five one-day internationals and three Tests.
