CSE turnover up Rs. 90 m.

The Colombo Bourse experienced mixed transactions yesterday's trading with the turnover increasing to Rs 203,247,904 from Rs.112,270,343 on Friday. The Turnover saw an increase of Rs. 90,977,561.

The CSE All Share Index was marginally down to 1,162.71 points from 1,211.11 points. Milanka Index stood at 2,050.63 points yesterday from 2,169.65 points the previous day. Traders have shown less enthusiasm at higher number gaining due to the upcoming holiday factor. But turnover recorded gains indicating that the market will pick up at future trading.

Talawakelle, Commercial bank, JKH, Aitken Spence, Hot. Hold, CT Land, SLT and Nations Trust were the day's higher contributors.

Domestic purchase was dealt at Rs. 2,000 million. Foreign purchase was Rs.144 million.

Yesterday's top five gainers were Kelani Cables, Lion Brewery, Three Acre Farms, Lanka Aluminium and Associated Prop.
