The Front in a press release issued yesterday under the signatures of its President Prof. A. V. Suraweera and General Secretary Gunasena Vithana said it would call upon all other left parties to join the United Peoples Freedom Alliance which had dedicated itself to the cause of driving away the people's common enemy and setting up a truly peoples' government. The front would also call upon the people to rally round the Alliance and help it in making its five basic principles a reality. |
