'GMP for industries to improve productivity' A training seminar on "GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) for industries to improve productivity" organised by the Institute of Chemistry, Ceylon will be held at Hotel Trans Asia on February 20. This is the 16th in a series of training seminars organised by the Institute, with the objective of Professional Development. The seminar aims to enlighten those engaged in the manufacturing and service providing industries on organisation, goals, social impact technology, modern manufacture, implementation of GMP in total quality management and its benefits to industry, leadership and customer care in planning and production, research and development centric GMP, preventive maintenance, occupational safety, issues and challenges in the implementation of GMP and how people IQ and EQ make a difference in practising GMP. The seminar is targeted at executives engaged in planning, production, human resource development, marketing, quality assurance in industries, R & D institutions, universities and postgraduate students. The seminar aims to improve quality safety and productivity of industrial products for sustainable development, through dissemination of knowledge on 'Good Manufacturing Practices'. The resource panel will comprise eminent persons with specialist knowledge and experience who will make presentations. |
