CIMA and Janashakthi launch Pinnacle awards The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) Sri Lanka and the Janashakthi Insurance Company Ltd launched the CIMA Janashakthi Pinnacle awards. The awards presentation is planned to further foster high standards in business excellence and leadership in Sri Lanka. The awards ceremony will be held on April 6 at the Colombo Plaza, to honour business leadership and business success stories of corporate Sri Lanka. CIMA's partner for this very first Pinnacle award ceremony is Janashakthi Insurance Company Ltd. The event is expected to create a benchmark of role models from leaders in 'best practices' while specifically highlighting today's top business professionals. These awards are another step in the attainment of CIMA's goal, supported by its partner Janashakthi, of developing and promoting better standards in the Sri Lankan business community - in this instance by recognising those individuals, finance teams and organisations that have made significant accomplishments. The CIMA Janashakthi Pinnacle awards will entail 15 titles recognising 15 of the most deserving recipients. These awards will be given to the applicants who qualify as a recipient only after passing a stringent and exhaustive judging process. This year's four main awards are: Young CIMA Star of the Year, CIMA Business Manager of the Year, Finance Team of the Year and Business Leader of the Year. |
