Economic Reform, Science and Technology Minister Milinda Moragoda and several other officials will embark on a mission to Sweden and subsequently to the Netherlands to discuss matters pertaining to the peace process with officials in those countries, the Royal Netherlands Embassy said in a release on Friday. He is also scheduled to meet the Swedish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Leila Freivalds. In the Netherlands, he will have a meeting with Minister Agens van Aardenne responsible for International Development Co-operation, the release said. Meanwhile an LTTE delegation will visit Sweden, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands and the European Commission in Brussels to elaborate on the current state of affairs in the peace process. The delegation will hold discussions with representatives of departments of the individual countries. The visits takes place at the request of the facilitator of the peace process in Sri Lanka, the Government of Norway. |
