Lintotawela appointed chairman Union Assurance Vivendra Lintotawela, Chairman of John Keells Holdings Ltd was appointed Chairman of Union Assurance effective 1 January 2004. He is also Chairman of the Employers' Federation of Sri Lanka and an active member of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. Lintotawela has over 30 years experience in the industry, in financial services, capital market operations, international trade, project development and management. He succeeds Hari Selvanathan who resigned from the position on 31 December 2003. The current composition of the UAL Board is: Vivendra Lintotawela (Chairman), H. Selvanathan (Deputy Chairman), H. A. Rehmanje (Director), D. C. R. Gunawardena (Alternate Director), A. D. Gunawardena (Alternate Director). |
