International karate tourney at Peradeniya

Arrangements have been made to conduct the Third International Karate Tournament at Peradeniya University Stadium on January 31 from 8.00 a.m. onwards. Over 800 men and women from India, Bangladesh, South Africa and Sri Lanka would participate in this big sports event.

International Shotokan Karate Association (ISKA) will organise this international karate tournament with the patronage of the Central Provincial Council's Sports Department, Matale Lions Club and the Sri Lanka Karate Do Federation.

The number of foreign participants would be around 80. The board of judges assigned by Sri Lanka Karate Do Federation would judge this event.
