Ceylinco Development Bank extends services to Kelaniya The Ceylinco Development Bank, the development banking arm of Ceylinco Consolidated, recently expanded its branch network with the opening of a branch in Kelaniya. Residents and the business community in the area and surrounding areas will be able to avail themselves of a wide range of fee and fund-based services including project loans, bills discounting, agricultural loans, term loans, short-term financing, finance and operating leases, bank guarantees, management consultancy services and portfolio management and corporate finance, the Bank said. Deputy Chairman of Ceylinco Consolidated, R. Renganathan said the company decided to establish a branch of the Ceylinco Development Bank in the area with the objective of cultivating entrepreneurial spirit among the local business community, as Peliyagoda, Kelaniya and Kiribathgoda areas are particularly famous for the trade of vehicles. The General Manager/CEO of Ceylinco Development Bank Godwin Ekanayake said that in keeping with the company's vision of generating financial power through financial intelligence, financial insight and financial wisdom, the company is determined to offer the best possible service to people of the area which has a great potential for varied business activities. The Ceylinco Development Bank was incorporated in 1996 and is backed by one of Sri Lanka's largest business conglomerates, Ceylinco Consolidated. The CDB is housed at Ceylinco House Colombo 1 and operates three other branch offices in Negombo, Moratuwa and Kurunegala. |
