CIM Talking Point on Lanka: new Horizons, New Hope

CIM Sri Lanka will launch "CIM Talking Point with HSBC" with a presentation by Ms. Janaki Kuruppu on "Sri Lanka: New Horizons, New Hope" on January 29 at Hotel Intercontinental, Colombo.

CIM Talking Point with HSBC will be a quarterly evening meeting organised by CIM Sri Lanka, where topics of interest to marketers and the business community in general will be covered. "We are happy to have Ms. Janaki Kuruppu, Managing Director, AC Nielsen Lanka talking on new horizons and new hope, something all Sri Lankans have conceived with the continuing peace process' said Lasantha Wickremasooriya, Chairman, CIM Sri Lanka.

Kuruppu said "After twenty years of war, we have had peace for almost 20 months. If we, as Sri Lankans, do not realise what an opportunity we have in our hands and do whatever's in our power to sustain this, probably the last chance that we have got as a country, we will regret it forever".

As an agency that works closely with the leading marketers in Sri Lanka and in over 100 countries AC Nielsen is in a position to take an independent view of many industries from the consumer as well as the retail aspect.
