Premier Pacific ventures into Rs.3.5 billion development complex

Premier Pacific International (Pvt) Ltd (PPI) with its partner Sunshine (Far East) Ltd of Hong Kong will venture into a Rs.3.5 billion mixed development complex project " Premier Pacific Topaz" in Kollupitiya 'Golden Mile' Colombo. This was made known at a pre-launch held at The World Trade Centre in Colombo.

This project targeted to attract local and foreign customers will come up as a twenty three level complex with unique architectural designs, in-house facilities, eco-friendly concepts and express shopping. Tudawe Brothers Ltd will spearhead the construction of this project.

The group has also come out with strategic business modalities to make this a viable and successful profit generating venture. "This project will help boost Colombo as a potential destination for commercial activities in the region and we are fully committed to contribute our share to develop Sri Lanka while making rooms for the foreign investments to flow in" said Chairman of Premier Pacific, Nimal Perera.

"Our company deviating from traditional property development concepts has introduced innovative architectural and customer care facilities to create a structural wonder " Perera said.

He also said that his company from its inception six years ago has been a successful venture being always well on track. "Our business was growing in "leaps and bounds" from Premier Pacific 2001 to Premier Pacific Pinnacle and now Premier Pacific Topaz" he said.

Speaking on the engineering aspects of the project, he said the complex would be constructed on a modular grid to withstand earthquakes while architectural designs supported by digital information. The location of the project would be an ideal one for the residencies and business purposes as it has quick access to commerce, finance and entertainment places. He outlined the key concepts accommodated with the project.

The Chairman of Sunshine (Far East) Sonu Vaswani said that his company will continue to invest in future projects of PPI as they find higher returns for their investments here. "We are contributing not only in terms of actual finances but also assisting in obtaining technological know-how and international market trends" Vaswani said.

He also commended the performance of PPI and the support extended by the Board of Investment (BOI) and The Peoples' Bank.

The Project Director of the company Nishali Perera said that her company is committed to offer stability and security for its customers' investment. Nishali said that her company will also undertake rental business with guaranteed returns.

The complex will have a clubhouse, gymnasium, business center, mini health spa, swimming pool, water bar, car parking and walk-on aquarium facilities.

Premier Pacific is a BOI approved company with 100% direct foreign investments. "Premier Pacific 2001"the company's inaugural project has won ICTAD and NCASL awards for construction excellence.
