Pakistani militant leader vows jihad will continue

LAHORE, Pakistan, Thursday (AFP) The founder and former head of outlawed anti-India militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba said the holy war against New Delhi's rule in disputed Kashmir would continue.

"We will not accept friendship with India. The holy war in the occupied Kashmir is continuing and suicide attacks will also continue," Hafiz Mohammad Saeed told a news conference in the eastern city of Lahore.

"The holy war will lead to the disintegration of India and people promoting dialogue with India will also be doomed," Saeed, now head of a hardline religious group called Jamaatul Dawa, said.
