Famous Pacific Shipping AGM in tokyo Famous Pacific Shipping (FPS) will hold its annual general meeting and sales conference in Tokyo, Japan from October 15 to 17th. Under the banner, "Strategy+Technology=Opportunity", around 70 FPS network executives from over 45 port/offices will attend the meeting of this NVOCC and freight forwarder which has roots in Asia but is growing fast throughout the world. The FPS global network now includes over 40 individual companies from 22 different nations worldwide under the FPS banner. Top of this year's agenda will be the ongoing impact of increased security concerns on the organisation's international freight forwarding and NVOCC services. Other meeting topics will explore the group's intentions in regard to improved-commerce capabilities, contract negotiations, communications and marketing. Ongoing network enhancement to enable FPS to provide its customers with complete international coverage is also likely to feature highly at the conference. FPS Group Chairman, Benny Ling said: "This AGM will help us to shape the future growth of the FPS business in regard to network expansion and service development."Famous Pacific Shipping network is represented in Sri Lanka by Famous Pacific Shipping Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., a founder member of the group. |
