Sri Lanka 'A' hit back through fast bowlers Chamara Gamage, Nuwan Zoysa, and Thilan Thushara to dismiss South Africa 'A' for 361 on the second day of their 4-day unofficial Test played at Willowmoore Park, Benoni on Wednesday.

South Africa who resumed at their overnight total of 163-1, had looked like running up a huge first innings total with Puttick and van Jaarsveld extending their second wicket partnership to worth 197. But once Zoysa had van Jaarsveld caught for 114 made in 227 minutes with 19 fours, Puttick followed soon after when Thushara forced him to nick one behind the wicket three short of his century. Puttick made his runs in 266 minutes striking one six and 14 fours.

Sri Lanka captured the remaining seven wickets for 78 runs with the three fast bowlers taking all ten wickets between them. Gamage had the best figures finishing with four for 75 while Zoysa and Thushara shared the remaining six.

Sri Lanka trailing by 234 runs were 125 for two wickets at the close with Avishka Gunawardana on 63 and Russel Arnold (5). Ian Daniel (1) and Jehan Mubarak (25) were the batsmen dismissed. Sri Lanka 'A' made 127 in their first innings.
