Rugby fans who have been clamouring for coverage of the Rugby World Cup 2003 are in for a treat.

The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd (ANCL) and Multivision have joined hands to screen the Rugby World Cup 2003 at Parliament grounds and at Galle Face Green for the benefit of numerous fans. The matches will be shown on giant screens at one location on one weekend and switch on during the next.

Matches that will be shown are from the opening ceremony on October 10, the weekend matches and the final round till November 22.

In addition, the 'Daily News' will carry updates and editorials right throughout the tournament.
