Susantha 'Y' snooker champ

Sri Lanka's number one snooker player Susantha Boteju won the YMCA Open Snooker Championship yesterday beating Naresh Samarawickrama five frames to one.

Susantha got off to a flying start winning first four frames in the first session of play. Naresh who never beat susantha in this session.

The second session saw Naresh make a strong come back winning the fifth frame 61-49.

Young Susantha who never in trouble and took the sixth frame convincingly 68-9, with break of 52 points.

Earlier in the fourth frame too he had the best break 61 points.

Yesterday's win is a morale booster for Susantha who is scheduled to leave for China tomorrow to compete in the World Snooker Championships.
