One match in the Singer/WCASL tournament conducted by the Women's Cricket Association of Sri Lanka will be played in Kandy to offer Kandy cricket fans the opportunity to see women at play in this 50 limited over match between Kandy Ladies CC and Negombo Ladies CC at Police Grounds on October 8.

Negombo go favourites to win though none of these two teams have won a single match in the series played so far at Moors SC Grounds.

Negombo Ladies will also clash against Dankotuwa CC at Wennappuwa on the 14th of this month.

Negombo XI: Eranthi de Silva (Captain), Elukshi Rodrigo, Ann Shamika, Manjula Priyadarshini, Harshini Maduwanthi, Kumudu Fernando, Priyanka Edirisinghe, Rochelle Shirley, Chandani Siriwardena, Sonali Arsakulasinghe, Dhammika Shalini and Kumudini Edirisinghe.

Kandy XI: Sweeni de Alwis (Captain), Prabha Udawatha, Chadani Abeywickrema, Nisansala Dharamawickrama, Nirmala Bowatte, Subadra Kumari, Sreepadi Weeerakkody, Nalika Amarasena, Niluka Samarakoone, Sandya Kumari, Maheshi Perera, Sandamali Jayasekera, Manori Ratnayaka and Sandamali Karunaratna.
