SLMC launches re-organisation drive

The Sri Lanka Muslim Congress has launched a massive party re-organisation drive to commemorate the third death anniversary of its late founder M.H.M. Ashraff, the party sources disclosed yesterday.

Speaking to the Daily News, a SLMC spokesperson said that the re-organisation scheme which started yesterday would continue till late next month and will conclude with the birth anniversary of the late Minister.

Port, Shipping and Rehabilitation Minister Rauff Hakeem was quoted as saying that they are going to establish party offices country wide including the North and East.Their target is to start a party office for every 1500 voters.
