Eagle achievers attend Penang convention Eagle Insurance Company, in keeping with its committed policy of enhancing the skills and competencies of its sales force, sent thirty members of the 'Team with Wings' for the 20th National Sales Convention in Penang, Malaysia organised by MCIS Zurich Insurance Company. Along with the Eagle sales management team, they got an opportunity to learn more about insurance selling and share knowledge with their counterparts. The National Convention was attended by 750 participants from Singapore, Malaysia and Sri Lanka. "The Eagle delegation was selected on the basis of a stringent criteria covering new business generation, customer retention and provision of superior quality service to customers", a spokesman for Eagle said. According to the participants, the Convention was in ideal opportunity to share experience, gain exposure and learn more about the best practices that Malaysia and Singapore adopt in attracting and retaining customers. Describing the "residential workshop" that Eagle conducted for its achievers in Malaysia, as "a knowledge enhancement exercise", the Eagle spokesman said that the theme of the workshop 'Challenge of Excellence', was used to drive the sales team towards excellence to ensure value addition to all stakeholders. While 30 Eagle achievers attended the Penang convention, 13 qualified this year to attend the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) conference, the international gathering of the best insurers in the world held in USA. Eagle Insurance, in line with its "human talent management" strategies continuously supports the development of the Eagle 'Team with Wings' to qualify for International standards in professionalism and distribution effectiveness. Eagle is the first company out side the UK to have its in-company training recognised by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) U.K. Eagle has regular training programs for its sales persons and had sent the highest number of sales persons in the Insurance industry to attend international training program. |
