New structure for peace talks

The government is contemplating a more development-oriented structure for the negotiating table once peace talks resume. The talks are expected to begin after the LTTE hands over its counter-proposals for the North East interim administration.

New lease of life for Lankagama

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe who made an inspection tour of the village of Lankagama in the Deniyaya Electorate, which was devastated by the recent floods met the residents of Lankagama at the Lankagama Primary School,the restoration of which has been undertaken by the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited.
