Dialog GSM launches customer service mobile bus By Sudarshana Perera The launch of the customer service mobile bus by Dialog GSM will add a new dimension to the government's policy of protecting and delivering a just and ethical service to customers, said Ravi Karunanayake, Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, the Chief Guest at the launch of Dialog GSM mobile bus at the Colombo Municipal Council grounds. Asath Sally ,Deputy Mayor of Colombo MC was the Guest of Honour. "I will extend my fullest cooperation for to companies which will take business to the customers' doorstep catching them on the move. I will invite Dialog GSM to set up a mobile service unit at each Mahapola exhibition to educate the public on aspects of mobile technology, he said. Dr.Hans Wijesuriya,CEO of Dialog GSM said that their company is always prepared not only to serve the masses but also to educate them and the launch of the Dialog GSM bus will serve a dual purpose. Nushad Perera, General Manager, Marketing and Sales of the Dialog GSM said that the bus is a valuable asset to Dialog GSM to have a closer rapport with the customer. Now we can cater not only to their needs more effectively but also understand first hand communication needs and solve them speedily. The 40-foot long luxurious bus offers customers the convenience of paying the monthly bills, settling accounts, checking account balances, purchasing phone units and accessories, obtaining new connections, transferring accounts and mailing addresses. The bus comprising an efficient team of young professionals will travel to interior villages and towns in the island. The tour team will also conduct workshops to educate customers on the use and benefits of mobile technology. Dialog GSM is operated by MTN Networks (Pvt) Ltd and is a fully owned subsidiary of Telekom Malaysia. |
