Kelaniya group correspondent

"All religious leaders including the Maha Sangha and all the other religious organisations including YMBAs must work hard unitedly today in the name of the motherland, Sri Lanka to eradicate crime. This has become a very very essential step to save our motherland," said K. Venerable Eldeniye Saranajothi Thera, President of Mahara Sasanarakshaka Mandalaya presided.

Karunadasa further said that all the educated and intelligent citizens of this country must come forward to protect this country. "Our main aim must be the protection of our motherland and the nation. Religious leaders must give the proper leadership for this valuable task. YMBAs will be formed on district level for this valuable cause. A National Council of YMBAs will be established soon as possible for this worthy purpose.

D. S. Embuldeniya, President, Kelaniya YMBA said he and his YMBA will extend fullest support and cooperation for this valuable task in the name of the country and the nation.
