Petes-Thomians in k/o Q-final

St. Peter's College will take on S. Thomas' College, Mount Lavinia in the first quarter-final of the Milo Schools President's Trophy Knock-Out Inter-School Rugby tournament on August 2 at the Sugathadasa Stadium.

However the newly crowned Milo Schools 'A' Division League Champions Royal College are yet to confirm their participation because their quarter-final fixture against Wesley College will be clashing with the second leg of the Bradby Shield encounter.

Royal have requested for a postponement but it is unlikely that the Sri Lanka Schools Rugby Football Association would change the draw. In the absence of Royal the runners-up of the Milo Schools 'B' Division League tournament Ananda College will make their entry into the quarter-finals.

The last two quarter-finals of the tournament will be worked off on August 4 with St. Anthony's College, Kandy meeting Dharmaraja College and Isipatana taking on Kingswood College, Kandy. The two semi-finals are scheduled for August 9 and the final on August 16. (C.D).
