by Manjula Fernando The Kelaniya University administration yesterday decided to suspend the studentship of 20 undergraduates who were identified to be involved in the clash on Monday. The Vice Chancellor of the Kelaniya University Prof.K.Tillekeratne told the Daily News the decision was taken on the recommendation of the University's Disciplinary Board , pending a formal inquiry into the incident. Several undergraduates and a police constable was injured in the commotion that ensued. After the clash the university was declared out of bounds for all students and the hostellers were evicted as a security measure.
