Kidney donor sought P. A. I. Perera (41) of 30/A old Kandy Road, Dalugama Kelaniya is suffering from an acute renal failure and Prof. Rezvi Sheriff, consultant Physician and Nephologist has recommended a kidney transplant to save his life. Mr. Perera has requested a 'B' positive or 'O' positive donor willing to donate him a kidney to kindly contact him immediately to enable him to undergo this operation. Project to market rural agri-products The Government has decided to open up rural economic centres with modern facilities impermanent buildings in order to collect and market agricultural products in the rural areas, the office of the Government spokesman said yesterday. Up country rural reconstruction department and the Japanese Bi-lateral Development Trust are jointly funding this project. The main objective of this project is to help the rural farmers to market their produces in time and to get a fair price for them. Six rural economic centres were planned to be constructed last year of these Walgamuwa rural economic centre in Hettipola town in the Matale District and Naula Economic Centre in the same district were built at the cost of Rs. 14 million and Rs. 12 million respectively and are now open
