Beloved son of the late Lionel Gunarathne and Violet Mabel Weerasinghe, brother of Chrisanthi Schmelcher (Switzerland) and Kanthi Thenuwara, brother­in­law of Kingsley Thenuwara and Klaus Schmelcher, uncle of Revantha and Chinthaka. Cremation will take place in Toronto, Canada.   33, Gothami Road, Colombo 8. 

KELAART ­ ALEXANDRINA MARY (ALEX)   In Sydney on 30th June. Formerly of Nuwara­Eliya. Late of 11, Fred Allen Place, Booty Hill, NSW 2766. Loved wife of the late Bobby, mother of Cuthbert, Monica and Tommy, mother­in­law of Jenifer, Dennis Ratwatte and Cheryl, loving grandmother of Marc, Phillipe, Sabina, Sheran, Roshan, Ashan and Dilukshan. Funeral Service at Our Lady of Consolation, Booty Hill on Saturday 5th July, followed by Cremation, in Sydney.

HENRICUS ­ MILDRED   Beloved daughter of late Hartley and Mary Henricus (Canada), loving sister of late Mavis Iona Lance Florence Aloma (Canada), Bertram, Lorraine Darrel and Patrick (Canada), expired. Remains will lie at Mahinda Funeral Parlour Mt Lavinia until 4.00 p.m. on Thursday 3rd July and thereafter burial at Mt.Lavinia Cemetery at 4.30 p.m. No.75, Kawdana Attidiya Road, Dehiwela. 

PEIRIS ­ H.J.F. (Freddie)   Dearly beloved husband of Pansy, loving father of Mohan & Dharini, Geethal & Malkanthi, Rohith & Nilakshi, sister of Crissie Salgado and Dr Collin Peiris. Cortege leaves residence No.22/1, Moragasmulla Road, Rajagiriya on Friday 4th July at 4 pm for burial at St.Stephen’s Church Rajagiriya. No flowers by request.
