Bangladesh apparel and textile exhibition in October

The 14th Annual Apparel Fair of Bangladesh known as Bangladesh Apparel and Textile Exposition 2003 will be held on October 18, 19, 20 at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka.

Bangladesh has established herself in the world apparel market as one of the most reliable sources of excellent quality apparel at the most competitive price. Bangladesh is one of the largest exporters of woven and knit shirts to the EU and one of the largest exporters of apparel to the USA and Canada respectively.

BATEXPO 2003 is the only international event of its kind which will bring together the apparel importers from all over the world and apparel and textile manufacturers of Bangladesh under one roof, thus paving the way for business inter-action.

Around 100 leading export oriented ready made garment factories (knit and woven) are expected to display products covering items presently produced and exported from Bangladesh.

Garment fabrics and accessories producers will also display their items in the exhibition. The Bangladesh Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association has extended an invitation to garment buyers and importers of Sri Lanka to attend the BATEXPO 2003.
