Rain holds up Lara's century and West Indies

ST. LUCIA, Gross Islet, Sunday - West Indies' progress in the first cricket Test against Sri Lanka was stalled by rain which put an end to the third day's play 50 minutes after lunch at Beausejour Stadium here today with skipper Brian Lara seven runs shy of completing his 21st Test century.
