Dehiwela Intelligence Unit OIC IP Sunil Thabrew was shot dead yesterday in his quarters of the Dehiwela Police by a Police informant alleged to have links with the LTTE.

SLMM to finalise report on Mullaitivu incident soon

The Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission (SLMM) is set to finalise its report on the sea incident in Mullaitivu which will be handed over to both the Government and the LTTE 'hopefully' on Wednesday or Thursday, SLMM Deputy Chief Hagrup Haukland told the Daily News.
