The fancied Traveller Global and SriLankan Airlines as expected retained the Travel Trade Sports Club soccer and netball titles at the Shalika Grounds, last Sunday. TTSC's double attraction, simultaneously conducted the 25th soccer sevens and the netball championships was sponsored by SriLankan Airlines.

The Star-studded, Traveller Global met little opposition on their way to the title, beating Golden Sun Resort, Kalutara (5/0 in the quarters), Grand Hotel Nuwara Eliya (3/0 in the semis) and in a repeat final of last year Trans Asia Hotel 3/0.

SriLankan Airlines who have never lost the netball title in the entire history of this tournament too met lukewarm resistance beating Confifi/Club Palm Garden 20/01, Kandalam Hotel 19/01, Riverina Hotel 14/0 and Hilton Colombo 15/8 in repeat final of last year.

Grand Hotel, Nuwara Eliya making a comeback took the Plate and Hilton Colombo retained the "Bowl' in the soccer.
