Seminar on Service Marketing from Strategy to Implementation The Human Resources and Education Sub Committee of The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce is organising a seminar on "Service Marketing from Strategy to Implementation" on June 12 from 1.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. at the Ground Floor Auditorium of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. The objective of the seminar is to provide practical insights to Senior and Middle level Marketing personnel in Services Organisations on formulation of service marketing strategies and implementation of such strategies. The seminar will focus attention on the unique features of Service Marketing from prevention of poor customer service to service as a competitive advantage, Interdependency of People, Policies and Processes in delivering service promises, building of service brands, brand as an experience that goes beyond communications and factors of service quality. It will be conducted by Deepal Sooriyaarachchi, FCIM UK, MBA (Sri.J), Chartered Marketer. He is the General Manager Personnel SBU, Eagle Insurance Co Ltd. and has authored a number of books on marketing including the popular book "Sinhalen Business" and the first ever book on services marketing in Sri Lanka titled "Paribhogika Sathkaraya". Deepal counts over twenty years of experience in Advertising, Marketing, Strategic Planning and Human Resources Development. |
