Somitha de Alwis will captain the Sri Lanka team for the World Netball championships which will be held from July 10 to 20 in Kingston, Jamaica.

The other members in the Sri Lanka squad are Gayathri Lankatilleke (vice captain), Arunika Karavitage, Shani Nisansala, Ratna Victoria, Anjana Kulari, Sashika samarasinghe, Sanduni Bollagala, P. D. N. Prasadi, Geeshanthi Jayakody, Harshani Priyangika, D. Jayatilleke.

The team will be coached by Mrs. Yasa Ramachandra and the stand byes for the tour are Thushari Dissanayake, Dhammika Malkanthi and Lalani Priyangika.
