Kandy SC should have it easy by S. M. Jiffrey Adeen - Kandy sports correspondent With two century of points under their belts in two games, the defending Caltex League champions Kandy SC will look to their third century this season when they take on Old Zahirians Sports Club in a Caltex league 'A' division Rugby tournament match to be played at Nittawela this Sunday - May 18th. This match was earlier scheduled to be played in Colombo and the venue had been shifted at the request of the home team Old Zahirians SC. Kandy SC have to date conquered everything before them having beaten Kurunegala Rugby Football Club 172-0 and next inflicted a crushing 100 - 5 defeat over their young brothers in club rugby Kandy Youths Sports Club. With a season's record like this, Kandy SC should once again go on a rampage unless the Old Zahirians do something extraordinary to stop their stronger opponents made still more stronger with the inclusion of two foreign players. Coach Tavita Tulagaese who was playing as stand off in the last match should revert to his regular position as No. 8, seasoned players like Asoka Jayasena and Indrajith Bandaranayake should be back in the side, along with Amjad Buksh, Mohammed Buksh and Nilfer Ibrahim.
