The Sri Lanka Norway business consulting company, N.B. partners in collaboration with NORAD (Norwegian Agency for Development Co-operation) and Sri Lanka Consulate General in Norway have organised a visit of a high ranking Norwegian trade, industry and investment delegation to Sri Lanka.

The delegation comprising representatives from leading business and industrial institutions in Norway will be in Colombo from March 30 to April 1.

During the visit, the delegation will participate in the Import Export Promotion Fair - IMEXPRO 2003 and will hold discussions with Sri Lankan industrialists, exporters and senior officials of the Ministries of Trade, Industries and Investment and Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and Board of Investment.

They will explore possibilities of new investments, joint ventures, import of Sri Lanka's products to Norway and third countries.

The Norwegian delegation will also look into the possibility of setting up joint ventures in Sri Lanka to produce goods for the Indian market for which Sri Lanka enjoys attractive duty concessions.
