Lankan women cricketers win in West Indies The first ODI in a series of seven One Day Internationals played against the West Indies at St. Vincent, the Sri Lankan women cricketers won the first match by 68 runs. Newcomer Shashikala Siriwardena was instrumental in this victory. They play their second ODI today. Sri Lanka 199 for 9 wickets in 50 overs (Hiroshi Abeysinghe 43, Shashikala Siriwardena 42, Vasanthi Ratnayaka 20, J. Charles 4 for 25, P. Charles 2 for 39). St. Vincent/Granada all out for 131 in 43.1 overs (Genielle Greaves 28, Doris Francis 25, D.
