Clarification

Reference to the news item published in our website yesterday on women liquor addicts, Consultant Physician, Sri Jayawardenapura General Hospital Dr. (Mrs.) Anula Wijesundere has clarified that according to a survey conducted by SOBER Sri Lanka, 40 per cent of the females in the estate sector consume illicit alcohol and not forty per cent of women as stated.

The error in our report is regretted.
