The  Average Weighted Prime Lending Rates (AWPLR) & the Lowest Prime Rate (LPR) during the week ended 28th, February 2003 by all commercial banks were 11.24 percent and 9.75 per cent respectively.

The Average Weighted Deposit Rate (AWDR) of Commercial banks for the month January, 2003 was 7.18 percent.
