| Rs. 500 million damage suit against Anura put off for June 19 by Kumar Wethasinghe The Additional District Judge of Colombo Z. M. Rasheed yesterday put off the Rs. 500 million damage suit against former speaker Anura Bandaranaike, MP for June 19. In this case, Commerce and Consumer Affairs Minister Ravi Karunanayake had sued the former Speaker. Karunanayake alleged that certain media statements made by the former Speaker was defamatory of him. |
