Former Speaker, Anura Bandaranaike, MP and Senior Advisor to President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga, will celebrate his 54th birthday today.

A Bodhi Pooja and a Pahan Pinkama will be held at the Kelani Raja Maha Vihare, organised by the Organisers of the SLFP in Kelaniya and Biyagama and presided over by the Chief Priest the most Venerable D. Kollupitiye Mahinda Sangharakitha Thera on the evening of the 15th.

Bodhi poojas and Pahan Pinkamas will be held in the Attanagalla electorate on Sunday.
